Sandra has been active in Competition\/Antitrust Law for two decades including a 10-year period at Barbosa Mussnich Aragão Advogados - where she became partner - and participation in the International Visiting Professional program at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York City. Represents clients before CADE (Conselho Administrativo de Defesa Econômica, the Brazilian Antitrust Agency) including in submitting transactions, agreements and partnerships for approval (such as mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, asset acquisitions) and in administrative proceedings involving investigation of anticompetitive conducts (cartels and others). Assists clients in reviewing business practices and in developing and implementing compliance programs. She has experience with national and and foreign companies active in a variety of industries and sectors such as technology, education, patrochemicals, ports, fuel, biotechnology and agribusiness, finance, clothing and apparel, energy, dairy, insurance and telecommunications.<\/p>\n
